Director of First Impressions  (AKA Host)

Experience Guide (AKA Server)

You might not own the restaurant or cook the food, but for better or for worse, patrons will always view you as "the restaurant". As such, you're in the lucky position of getting all the praise when the customer is happy, but also being the problem solver when they're not, even if it's due to something out of your control.  Experience Guides must consistently be able to assess, anticipate and meet guests’ needs. Experience Guides must clearly communicate in a professional manner with guests, vendors, coworkers and management.

Fulfillment Specialist (AKA food runner)

Fulfillment specialists are an essential part of our restaurant. They work as augmentation and assistance to the front of house and are required to deliver food to the tables. They are also responsible for filling and delivering all beverage orders to the tables. 

KamadoGo Guide (KGG)

Set up our guests for success whether they are headed home to feed the family or back to the office to feed co-workers. As a take-away guide you will handle all curbside togo orders placed via phone calls or the web. Accuracy will be the single most important part of what you do, and delivering the KG experience one guest at a time. 

Tap Master (AKA Bartender)

The purpose of this position is to interact with our bar guests and ensure they have a great experience when dining at our restaurant. Tap Masters are responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, Tap Masters are expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

Requirements

 

Director of First Impressions (DOFI)

  • Opening front doors and greeting guests
  • Analyze guests needs upon arrive… Number of guests, table location, celebrating special  occasion
  • Showing guests to tables during Lunch & Dinner service
  • Begin IPAD experience with guests and explain how the adventures works. Capture initial drink order before leaving the table.  Let server know if the guest is a first time ipad user.
  • Oversee the flow of guests within the restaurant
  • Manage the reservations and shift team, calculate accurate wait times and communicate them to both guests and management
  • Maintain ambience of restaurant – lighting, music, cleanliness, hygiene
  • Promote special In House events ex. Winemakers Dinners , Cocktails, Tasting sessions
  • Coordinate outdoor guest activities… corn hole, bocce ball… Make sure guests are enjoying themselves at all times.
  • Complete bathroom checks every 20 minutes
  • Complete parking lot checks every 30 minutes
  • Help maintain overall restaurant cleanliness

Experience Guide (AKA server)

  •  Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
  • Analyze guests needs and comfort level with IPAD POS ordering system- Determine if guests will be using IPAD for ordering or if you will be taking the order for them
  • Show additional features of IPAD, music, games, product education, beverage refill.
  • Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
  • Up-sell food & beverage items using suggestive selling techniques.
  • Answer questions regarding regions where food products come from, how food is prepared.
  • Describe in detail tastes and textures.
  • Answer questions regarding wine list, where wine comes from the vintage and the aromas & flavors of the wines.
  • Answer questions about our craft beer selection, offer samples?
  • Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
  • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
  • Maintain clean service areas.
  • Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
  • Offer guests a tour of the restaurant
  • Inform guests of what we offer in our retail center and what events we have coming up.
  • Show guests how to process payment via the IPAD POS
  • Encourage guests to fill out comment card on IPAD, so we can better improve our restaurant
  • Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
  • Clear and buss tables and re-set for next seating
  • Take bus tubs to dish pit
  • Check floors under tables and also around the restaurant; sweep when necessary
  • SMILE!!!!

Fullfilment Specialists (AKA food runner)

  • Carry a large tray with food or a small tray with glasses from the kitchen to any table in the restaurant
  • Fulfill drink orders as they come in on the KDS screens
  • Run all drink orders from both the service stations and bar
  • Know all table numbers and sections.
  • Move quickly and efficiently throughout the restaurant, and be able to multitask
  • Check floors under tables and also around the restaurant; sweep when necessary
  • Help maintain overall restaurant and kitchen cleanliness
  • Assist with dish pickups from the bus station and from expo
  • Assist with pre bussing tables
  • Complete any other task that may be asked of you throughout a night
  • Communicate with wait staff regarding requests and relay those to the kitchen.
  • Communicate with wait staff regarding any incomplete orders/deliveries of food or beer
  • Complete closing side-work duties

KamadoGo Guides (KGG)

  • Answer the phone in a courteous and professional manner and guide our guests through their to-go orders
  • Answer any questions regarding food facts or nutritional information
  • Up-sell food & beverage items using suggestive selling techniques.
  • Confirm all web orders via phone call
  • Great all guests within 1 minute of their arrival
  • Process CC payments at the vehicle via the IPAD
  • Expo togo food in kitchen
  • Check togo orders in takeaway room, and ensure the guests have everything they need… napkins, silverware, condiments, any additional requested items.
  • Fulfill all togo beverage orders and assist fulfillment specialist during downtime
  • Stock togo room with supplies… bags, cups, napkins, silverware
  • Portion dressings and sauces for shift
  • Build a strong report with your guests and build a regular clientele base
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks

Tap Master (AKA Bartender)

  • Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
  • Begin IPAD experience with guests and explain how the adventures works.
  • Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards.
  • Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
  • Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions.
  • Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
  • Up-sell food & beverage items using suggestive selling techniques.
  • Answer questions regarding regions where food products come from, how food is prepared.
  • Describe in detail tastes and textures.
  • Answer questions regarding wine list, where wine comes from the vintage and the aromas & flavors of the wines.
  • Answer questions about our craft beer selection, offer samples?
  • Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
  • Manage keg cooler… Product rotation, inventory, and cleanliness
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks
  • Get to know your guests and build a regular client base
